we had lots of events in past 4 Sun. afternoons!
Richie, a short termer since mid May, had his recital! we all were amazed by his beautiful voice!we really miss him since he’s gone back to US ;( we’ll be praying for the blessings on his future!
another Sunday afternoon, we had “Sambi no Tsudoi = praise afternoon”. so glad to see friends from other presbyterian churches in Aichi, and so glad to be with them singing praise for Him.
we had a saxophonist and a cellist this time, i really enjoyed listening to their sound and melody! after the break, we had a couple of people sharing about their favourite Hymn with their stories. that was a great reminder that God has been reaching to people’s hearts through songs of praise for Him through the ages. Our God is good. and at the prayer time, we prayed for Tohoku, the northern Japan area, to get recovered more, and for the wounded, the broken-hearted, the isolated in the area to be able to meet Him.
lastly, the Summer team from Misouri came last week! they will be with us until the end of July to help out Nisshin college stuff and Kid’s Gospel Week!
a bicycle, a bicycle, and a bicycle….
the first Hospitality Night with them!we called the night “welcome Night” to introduce a japanese song “Ookina kurino kino shitade” and to play “darumasan ga koronda” and ” Hanaichi monme” we just couldn’t stop laughing, we just loved who they are, and their broken japanese!
this Wednesday, we will have “American culture night”
i simply thank God as He has been giving me joy in those busy weeks!
